haven't joined you all in a few, but i'm a frequenter of the downtown café
scene so thought i'd chime in:

BIG fan of Michael Thomas, so i'd second that motion. one of its advantages
is that, if it's too crowded, there is another nice café a block east
called Limonata. and if Limonata is too crowded as well there is always the
Flying Star a stone's throw away on Central near Amherst.

more in the heart of downtown i'd recommend Zendo
