Folks,

Today, Cliff, Michael V & Michael D and I made our way from Bandido's Hideaway where no one else was, to Michael Thomas' on Bryn Mawr & Silver. A very nice atmosphere, parking, excellent coffee. Does anyone know the downtown coffee shop scene and want to give a recommendation for next week? Otherwise, we'll reconvene next Thursday at 9 am at Michael Thomas'.

Tomorrow, Friday the 3rd, my wife Katie (who produces The Children's Hour Radio Show on KUNM has recently expanded her mission by creating a non-profit to pay for engineers to help her do live shows from cultural places around the state. http://childrenshour.org) is having a fundraiser in collaboration with The Chello Grill - Persian and Middle Eastern Food - it's up on Cutler near I-40 and San Mateo.

They offered Katie's 501-c3 50% of the receipts for any family that shows the coupon below when ordering lunch, dinner or carryout on Friday May 3rd.

We are planning on eating lunch around noon and dinner around 5:30pm - hope to see you there!
