Well, we missed the deadline for app submission this year - it was 2 days ago. But, to do something that will win takes longer, like a year. 

If you are a GIS wiz, consider teaching the rest of us. 


ABQData has KML - Keystone Markup Language - and it's zippéd sister KMZ so finding a good implementation that works with the MapKit or replaces it. 

And then we have the AGIS - Albuquerque GIS - which uses ARCgis a commercial SDK https://developers.arcgis.com/en/ which is cross-platform.

Again, the data sets are: ABQ Data — City of Albuquerque

I think I have a KILLER name for the app too -> QueBit
