[Updates] 3 possible substitutes for Winning

Hello,

Thank you all very much for hosting these events. I don't make it very
often anymore, but wanted to send out a note of encouragement as Winnings
shuts down.

This group gave me the confidence to bid on my software company's first iOS
project. Having the support of a local group was very helpful for me to
realize that my company could handle development at least as well as the
horrible contracting company that we took the contract away from. Since
then, we completed another iOS contract. Cocoa Conspiracy directly resulted
in > 20k in iOS development returning to, or staying in, Albuquerque with
Noventum (my company.)

I have a similar story for the WordPress group, which is why I pay my
employees to go and answer questions without cost to those attending their
work-along events. WordPress projects are much easier to sell, with a
bigger market, so the economic impact is significantly higher, even though
they are typically smaller and lower margin. I acquired a WordPress
development company out of Santa Fe, and now have an account manager up
there to handle all of our clients.

These groups make a big difference in the local community, and people's
lives.

Thanks for putting this together. I know if we get going hardcore with iOS,
I can start coming again.
