mim.fm seeks developer

Hey CC, Ian here…some of you may know me, I started a little social justice venture a few years back called mim.fm. Over the years mim.fm has partnered with various organizations including Family Promise, Henderson House, and the Sierra Club in support of underserved communities and urgent social concerns such veterans issues, the homeless, and our environment. I’m now seeking a programmer to build out the idea. 

The project will likely be a native app, and iOS would be ideal, however, there is reason to be concerned that Apple could consider mim.fm an iTunes / Apple Music competitor and as such may not grant the app approval. So having skills as an Android developer, should we go that route, would be a prerequisite for this gig. Creating a web app is not out of the question either. The app will include notifications, payments, and some geolocation components among other modern features. 

FYI, I’d much prefer that you have an abiding, if not all-consuming, passion for social justice then that you’re a music fan, although an interest in music and music distribution is certainly a plus. If this project piques your interest email me back or call / text at:
