Three quarters of a century deserves a pause and some fun with friends, so:

I am gathering some friends at my apartment - and you are one!
I will have a few drinks and some finger food to start,
but if you want more - bring some refreshments = drinks or finger food.
If you are not in town, I know you can’t make it, but I wanted to include you anyway.
